NG PROFILER
The first 15 meter vessel from the PROFILER CLASS is delivered to client North Sea Port Terneuzen/Ghent. North Sea Port uses the ship for the monitoring of its waterways and ports. the PROFILER CLASS is available in various dimensions: 15m / 16.60m / 19.90m / 25.5m. Classification and flag state will be discussed between the yard and the client. The vessel is also suitable for recreational use. Characteristic for the PROFILER CLASS is the continuous deep V-hull with dual propellers propulsion system.
The ship is spacious, has wide gangways and an easily accessible fore deck. The aft deck is designed as a spacious and safe work deck. The engine room is located under the work deck. Accessible via a hatch through the aft deck for maintenance. The brand-free inner door can be used for daily inspection. With the two Volvo Penta D6 370 hp engines a registered speed of 22 knots can be achieved. Below decks is the access to the technical room. Due to the great accessibility of all components, maintenance and inspection can be carried out easily. Below decks is also the crew area, with galley and toilet. The fender system gives the ship a special ease of use and has a stabilizing effect in heavy seas.
The NG Profiler has been awarded with the
“Port support vessel of the year” during the DPC Awards 2018.
Judges said that the winning vessel impressed the judges with its versatility of functions, which makes it a real value add to the port. The Harmonie hydro-graphic survey boat will serve a new northern port for sounding, surveying and inspections. The vessel, which is the first in the Profiler Class for coastal and inland work, will operate on both sides of the border between the Netherlands and Belgium and can be used for tasks ranging from surveying to traffic guidance and commercial touring. Harmonie is equipped with a multi-beam echo-sounder, sound velocity probe sensors and a sonar blister unit
